It was another eventful day in Canberra with Malcolm Turnbull still in the top job despite Peter Dutton’s efforts to secure it.
The day began with Mr Dutton, Mr Turnbull’s former home affairs minister, demanding another meeting of his Liberal colleagues in parliament.
Just after 11am Perth time the Prime Minister revealed he would not call a party room meeting to spill the Liberal leadership until he gets further advice on Mr Dutton’s eligibility to sit in Parliament.
But Mr Turnbull said he won’t stand if Mr Dutton has the numbers to challenge him.
Online it was a free-for-all too, with plenty keen to have their say on the day’s proceedings.
