For movie lovers who’ve missed Sunil, the comedian, here’s some good news. “I play a full-length comedy role in Silly Fellows. In the films that I played the hero, I didn’t get to do a lot of comedy. In fact a lot of my fans have been telling me that they miss the old, gangster me. In fact, I’ve missed that me too. But in Silly Fellows, the audience will get to see my funny side yet again,” shares an excited Sunil, adding, “Comedy films relieve stress for audiences; the joy is similar for actors too. In fact, acting in the film was like a therapeutic experience for me.”
Sunil is all praise for his co-star Allari Naresh and director Bheemineni Srinivas Rao. “It was good to act with Naresh after a long break and I realised he hasn’t changed at all. We are part of the funniest and craziest stretches of the film that will leave the audience in splits,” says the actor. Talking about the director, he adds, “Bheemineni garu is one of the very few directors in the business who can pull off madcap entertainers with aplomb. I think he has the calibre to live up to the benchmark for humour set by legendary filmmakers like EVV Satyanarayana and Jandhyala. We were supposed to work together earlier too, but things never materialised. He conceived a great role for me and it was a delight to work with him.” Sunil sums up saying, “Silly Fellows is a film Bheeminei garu has been sculpting for over two years now. It will leave you rolling in laughter. ”

Silly Fellows, produced by Bharat Chowdary, Kiran Reddy, TG Vishwa Prasad and co-produced by Vivek Kuchibhotla under Blue Planet Entertainment, People Media Factory,
releasing tomorrow.
