Drivers: Keke doesn’t love you, so buckle up and stay in your damn car.
The good folks over at the Oklahoma Department of Transportation hilariously trolled drivers this week when they issued a warning about the Drake-inspired ‚ÄúIn My Feelings‚ÄĚ challenge.
‚ÄúKeke, are you driving? Then buckle up and pay attention because you‚Äôve got us in our feelings over all this unsafe driving,‚ÄĚ ODOT officials wrote on local highway signs.
This summer’s viral challenge took off after IG comedian Shiggy posted a dance to Drake’s hit in the street. Not surprisingly, participants took things to a dangerous (and stupid) level by jumping out of moving cars, reportedly causing several terrifying injuries including an 18-year-old girl fracturing her skull.
Accidents stemming from the KeKe Challenge have caused concern at a national level too. A spokesperson for the National Transportation Safety Board recently issued a statement to The Blast: ‚ÄúMotor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death in the U.S. Hopping out of a moving vehicle or jumping into lanes of traffic to show your dance moves is foolish and dangerous ‚Äď to you and those around you.‚ÄĚ Adding, ‚ÄúThere‚Äôs a time and place for everything, but our nation‚Äôs highways and roadways are no place for the #inmyfeelings challenge.‚ÄĚ
