Sunday tickets for the 2019 Open Championship at Royal Portrush have sold out.
Weekly and weekend bundle tickets are also gone with over 11 months still to go until the tournament tees off.
No Open Championship has ever sold out but the 148th edition is already all set to be at full capacity every day. A fifth of the entire capacity was sold in the opening 48 hours of sales and the pace has kept up.
The tournament takes place from 18-21 July next year and you can still get tickets for the Thursday, Friday and Saturday of tournament action as well as the practice days from Sunday 14th to Wednesday 17th.
Should every day sell out, 190,000 golf fans will come through the Royal Portrush gates.
The historic course is also the venue for the European Tour’s record attendance when 112,000 supporters attended the 2012 Irish Open.
