Police are warning business owners in Lumpkin County about fake money being circulated in the area.
Several business owners in the Dahlonega area reported receiving counterfeit bills over the Labor Day weekend.
The Lumpkin County Sheriff’s Office posted a picture of one of the bills on its departmental Facebook page.
They’re urging merchants to check money carefully before accepting it.
