In the clip, a lorry is driving along a quiet country road.
After a few seconds, the black hearse suddenly appears on the right of the picture.
It is being driven very fast ‚Äď and on the wrong side of the road.
And as the vehicle moves over, a coffin can be seen as the whole hearse tilts.
The video was caught on the dashcam of a Fletcher International HGV on the Albany Highway, Australia.
It has since been shared on Facebook and viewers have been left divided on whether the hearse driver was acting illegally or not.
Some suggest the manoeuvre started within legal limits.
‚ÄúThey did not commence overtaking on a solid line,‚ÄĚ one wrote.¬†
‚ÄúHe‚Äôs on his way to joining that coffin in the back‚ÄĚ
‚ÄúMight want to check on the legality before calling the driver stupid.‚ÄĚ
While another commented: ‚ÄúI actually think there‚Äôs no grounds here.‚ÄĚ
But others believe the person behind the wheel put themselves at risk with reckless driving.
A third viewer said: ‚ÄúHe‚Äôs on his way to joining that coffin in the back.‚ÄĚ
‚ÄúI cannot believe the stupidity of some drivers,‚ÄĚ a fourth added.
This comes at a time when Great Southern Police are launching a new safety campaign.
Called Operation Overview, the aim is to get as many drivers using dashcams as possible to help identify crash causes.
Police district superintendent Ian Clarke said: “People are able to provide really damning evidence to those who are driving recklessly on the road.
‚ÄúI certainly think it‚Äôs a great thing to have and if people choose to do that we certainly encourage it.‚ÄĚ
But this is not the first time dangerous drivers have been caught on camera recently.
A young girl clung to an out-of-control motorbike which hurled her parents off.
And in August, drivers on the M25 got into a massive brawl during rush-hour traffic.
